NMS/NHS Parent Teacher conferences are this Tuesday and Wednesday (10/8 and 10/9) evenings from 4:00-8:00 PM. All teachers will be in the south gym. We hope to see you all there!

The 2024 Family Friendly Workplace Conference is in the books! Yesterday, many invested businesses, school districts, educators, business professionals, community leaders, resource agencies and child care providers, from across the Southeast Kansas region, took time out of their busy schedules to come together in Parsons to discuss what it means to invest in Family Forward practices. Superintendent, Mrs. Juanita Erickson, spoke as part of a panel discussion on the newly opened USD 461 Early Learning Center.

North Lawn's 5th and 6th Grade Ambassadors!
North Lawn is proud to announce our 1st Semester, 5th Grade Student Ambassadors. These students completed an application, provided references, and were interviewed. They will be traveling to Greenbush on October 30th for training. We held our first meeting today and they have lots of great ideas. Congratulations!!

Flu shot permission forms are available at the front desk at each school and will be sent to your email. Please fill out the front page only and return to your child's school no later than October 8th. The clinic for flu shots will be October 15th and make-up date on October 22nd.

Rose and Kate were eating lunch early today due to a tennis meet. I was picking up the cafeteria after MS lunch and they stayed a few minutes extra to help me. Rose even got something from under a table because she said she "looked more mobile than me". I think that's code for Mr Swanson is old. :) Either way, they get a #selfiewiththeprincipal.
