Ms. Taliaferro said that Delilah was quick to jump in and help another student with their math when they were stumped. To meet our schoolwide goal, we have to Synergize (Habit #6) and work together. Great job Delilah! #selfiewiththeprincipal

Habit #7 is "Sharpen the Saw" which is about filling your bucket with things that make you happy. Mrs. Wheeler nominated Abby for a #selfiewiththeprincipal because she gave up her entire Boltz time to come help a middle school student that needed help with math. Abby is always on the lookout for her peers and is willing to help wherever needed. Great job Abby!

Mrs. Taliaferro nominated George for a #selfiewiththeprincipal because when George was struggling with a class, they set a goal together and he worked hard to meet that goal communicating that he needed help and accepting help from a peer. His positive attitude was a key. Habit #3 is "Put First Things First" and George did that to find that success.

North Lawn's 6th grade Student of the Month is Easton Rupert. Easton enjoys playing soccer and basketball. He wants to be an NBA or pro soccer player. His teacher Mrs. Whitson said, “Easton is one of the most self-disciplined and hardworking students I’ve had the pleasure of teaching. He has a remarkable ability to balance his focus energy–when it’s time to work, he gives his absolute best, and when it’s time to play, he does so with the same enthusiasm and spirit. Whether he’s diving into a class project or enjoying a well-earned break, Easton’s dedication and drive shine through. His ability to work hard and play hard is a testament to his strong character, making him a truly deserving Student of the Month.”
